Pokemon Blue was the first one I played. It's a pretty great game even to this day, and you can easily see why Pokemon caught on so fast.

Generation 1.
I accidentally clicked on Gen 3.
My buddy had Pokemon Stadium and while I didn't have my own game at the time they were fun.

I started at Gen 2. I used Blastoise, who was also the only Pokemon I was able to (legitimately) train to level 100. Mewtwo was my next closest, at level 96.

I started with Gen II all the way back in 2001, then went back and played all of the Gen 1 games before Crystal was released.

Pokemon Blue for me too. I couldn't save my progress for some reason back in the day so every time I started it up, I would switch my starter Pokemon, I usually stayed with either Squirtle or Bulbasaur, and only once did I choose Charmander. I would always make it to Pewter City, beat Brock, and then call it a day.

I've been a pokemon fan since the beginning, but didn't get my first pokemon game til R/S/E.

First pokemon was Blaziken, then Swampert. Then...Sceptile, whom I've stuck with since then.

The very first time I played Pokémon, it was a romhack of Blue on a friend's computer. It made Squirtles appear everywhere. o.o

My first official game was Silver if I remember correctly, but I've played the 1st gen games as well. I even still have my Blue team on Pokémon Stadium 2, and I've been playing Crystal one last time before the cartridge battery croaks.
